The Vulcan task force fleet in 2258
The Vulcan Task Force was a Federation fleet organized in 2258 of the alternate reality influenced by Nero, to investigate a distress call from Vulcan. When the fleet arrived there, except for the Enterprise, which had left late because of an error on Sulu's part, it was completely destroyed by the Narada, a Romulan mining vessel from the 24th century. However, there were some survivors from the rest of the fleet, and the Enterprise rescued the survivors.
