William Halsey Parmenter is a male Human Starfleet officer in the 24th century.
Early life[]
William Halsey Parmenter was born 4 May, 2338, at the Starfleet Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Earth, to David Farragut Parmenter, a Starfleet captain, and his wife, Catharine (nee Stevenson). He came from a long line of military tradition; his father would eventually attain the rank of Vice Admiral and would later (posthumously) receive the Pike Medal of Valor for his actions with the USS Gemini-B during the Federation-Cardassian War. He was named after William Halsey, a US Navy Admiral in World War II.
David and Catharine had three sons, Jonathan, James, and John Paul, and a daughter, Amanda. William was the oldest of these. The family lived on a succession of Starfleet posts throughout the Alpha Quadrant, including along the Romulan Neutral Zone.
This time on the frontier ended in July 2354 when the family moved to San Francisco, while his father was transferred to the USS Gemini-B. He attended Gabriel Bell High School.
Starfleet Academy[]
Will entered Starfleet Academy in 2356. He graduated in 2360, with a major in Intelligence Operations. He was third in his class.
