Design[]
The Yeager class was a type of Intrepid-class variant, utilizing a standard Intrepid-class saucer section which is attached to a larger, and bulkier secondary hull. Two nacelles were attached to large wing-like appendages coming off the aft hull.

Energy generation[]
It is fitted with a matter x antimatter reactor which generated enormous amounts of power through explosive collisions releasing pure light (energy) which is then harnessed directly into FTL systems and regulated through a matrix of magnets and dilithium.
Propulsion[]
FTL[]
It is fitted with a Starfleet issue warp drive suited to exploratory needs. It works by generating warp fields to form a subspace bubble that enveloped the starship, distorting the local spacetime continuum and moving the starship at velocities that could greatly exceed the speed of light.
- The maximum speed is rated as warp factor 9.55 with cruising velocity being warp 6.
Sub-light[]
Yeager class vessels can travel through space at sub-light speeds via nuclear fusion engines in which the plasma from the fusion reactor powers a massive magnetic coil to propel the ship. It is a form of magnetohydrodynamic or magnetoplasmadynamic thrusters.
Tactical[]
- Tractor beam generators: It featured two forward and one rear positioned tractor beam emitters that project beams of attenuated gravity at a target thus allowing the manipulation of its trajectory.
