The Zephyr class is a Earth starship design type in service in a potential 22nd century.

Energy generation[]
It has a number of impulse reactor assemblies, fueled by deuterium, which utilises a nuclear fusion process to produce highly energised plasma that is then fed to sub-light engines and primary systems.
The class features one of the most powerful warp cores ever built by United Earth during the 22nd century. It generates enormous amounts of power through matter x antimatter collisions releasing pure light (energy) which is then harnessed directly into FTL systems and regulated through a matrix of magnets and Dilithium.

Pulsed phase cannons[]
The class is armed with one retractably mounted pulsed phase cannon that fires pulsed beams of red nadion particle discharge at a target. It is rated for a maximum power output of 500 gigajoules.
Torpedoes[]
Zephyr class spatial missiles
It is secondly armed with ventral and dorsal torpedo launchers that shoots out self-propelled torpedoes each equipped with photonic warheads that utilise a matter x antimatter reaction.
The class furthermore is equipped with a rack turret in the left wing that holds a number of spatial torpedoes armed with nuclear warheads.
Defensive systems[]
- Hull polarisation: In lieu of regular deflector shields, they incorporate a polarization matrix in its hull plating to minimize potential damage from weapons fire and other space hazards. Through the application of electromagnetic power, the metal hull of the ship can be made several orders of magnitude harder than it is in its non-polarized state.
Propulsion[]
It is also equipped for atmospheric entry and planetary landing.
Sub-light[]
For sub-light speeds, the class runs on thirteen impulse engine setups in total including; eight VTOl, 4 horizontal flight thrusters and one pulse engine on the rear tail area. It is capable of at least warp 0.05.
Zephyr class vessels are able to stay in space for weeks if not months if needed, much longer than other MACO starships, allowing for a greater range and flight time before having to set down at a base for deuterium refueling.
During a deployment, USS Zephyr One stayed in sub-light deep space for three months before being recalled. It was insuinited that it could've stayed for at least 6 more weeks.
FTL[]
The Military Assault Command Operations installed a Starfleet developed warp five engine that works by generating Warp fields to form a subspace bubble that enveloped the starship, distorting the local spacetime continuum and moving the starship at velocities that could greatly exceed the speed of light.
The maximum speed is factor 5.2 which it could sustain for a limited time while cruising speed was warp factor 3.

Compartments[]
- Landing bay: Zephyr class vessels have been designed to incorporate a landing bay for Quinjet class shuttlecrafts on the dorsal surface and has been observed to allow at least two to land at any given time.
- Bridge: The bridge is located at the front of the ship, it has several metal railings, the bridge also has multiple control stations where crew members control and manage the ship's systems and panels on the walls which displays information on targets, System info, maps, etc. At the front of the bridge behind glass doors is where the pilot sits and flies the ship (when autopilot is not engaged).
- Containment module: The class is adapted to carry Alcatraz class containment modules on board, that can be sent to specific locations on a planet as indicated by a tracking device planted on the ground then use jets on the bottom to fly back up. Aside from some windows, the interior of these pods is made from "poly-tectic adaptive materials" that can withstand some alien powers/weapons and are customized by use.
- Loading Bay: The Zephyr class has a large bay area which is used for loading and offloading cargo as well as embarked vehicles.

- Crew quarters: The primary crew quarters for lower-ranking members were barracks-style, with bunk beds lining the walls in a shared living space. Higher ranking officers such as bridge members were given independent rooms.
- Laboratory: It possesses an integrated laboratory facility that is sealed off and fully equipped - more so than an NX class.
- Bathrooms: The class features multiple bathrooms equipped with water-based showers, toilet facilities, for its crew.
